I Left My Heart.....

Visiting San Francisco and the area is always a treat for us. Its familiar enough that we are comfortable getting around. We've experienced and lived most of the highlights. So we can just hang out and enjoy the small things that make any town unique - there is just a LOT more of that stuff in SF!

Tampa airport actually!

Castro is full spectrum

amazing crocheted blankets at knit shp

a typical dragon skeleton hanging by the firehydrant

updated Presidio - tunnel tops

Presidio has become very woodsy

creative benches at tunnel tops

no more barracks and parking lots at Crissy Field

next to our old apartment in Marina!

new shop - Kokak! in Castro

always a stop at Dandelion chocolates

25 years ago we were married here!!

Mission Dolores still a sight

One observation about being in California vs Florida - there were billboards and regular TV commercials enouraging people to get their Covid vaccines. Wouldnt see THAT in Florida where the government prefers to ignore health issues, to the cost of many lives. But, as I've been told by family members, they were going to die anyway.

We got to stay at Farkle Jackie's home in Moss Beach. Always cool, foggy, wonderful hiking and tide pools to explore. We got to talk with some park rangers to learn a bit more of those tide pools.

the scary trees in the park at Moss Beach

Turk hikes toward the water

Trees on slope were on flat land last year. will be in water soon.
